Torquay
Golf Club is a delightful parkland course with stunning views over Lyme
Bay to the east and Dartmoor to the west.
The course is an excellent and enjoyable test for our visiting golfers who are always made
most welcome.
During 2009 Torquay Golf Club
celebrated its Centenary Year and we have a proud history. Names
which include Harry Vardon and J.H.
Taylor, both of whom opened the new clubhouse in 1911, are associated
with Torquay Golf Club and six times major winner Nick Faldo won his first
winners cheque at Torquay as a young professional.
During the summer months of May,
June, July and August we organise a fine selection of Open Competitions
