VISITORS GENERAL INFORMATION

Visitors to Torquay Golf Club are assured a warm welcome.

Below are some items of information which will be of general interest to visitors

Society/Group Guidelines

Visitors are always welcome at Torquay Golf Club; however to ensure that your day runs as smoothly as possible there are some guidelines to follow to ensure that you and your guests have an enjoyable day.

Last Minute Arrangements

It is essential that all details are relayed to the Secretary’s office and our Caterers at LEAST ONE WEEK before arrival. Should you have any additional requirements such as nearest the pin/longest drive please let us know in advance so that we can ensure they are in place in advance of your group’s arrival.

We need to know at this stage your exact numbers, format of play and any special dietary requirements. It is recommended that all visitors play in 3’s to ensure that the recommend speed of play is adhered.

On the Day

Please ensure that you arrive in plenty of time for your tee reservation. You will need to check the group in at the Pro Shop and ensure that all monies for the green fee are paid at this point. It would then be a good idea to liaise with our Caterers regarding any last minute details for food at this point. All arrangements for food are made direct with the Caterers and not the Club, this includes payment.

We do have practice nets located by the 1st tee should anyone wish to warm up. Please ensure that all players are ready at the side of the tee or on the putting green well in advance of their tee time.

It is your responsibility as group organiser to ensure that all players adhere to the Rules of Golf whilst out on the course and also our own rules regarding DRESS CODES. Anyone not doing so may be asked to leave the course.

Please see the attached sheet for full details on our Dress Code and relevant rules.

We are sure that you will have a fantastic time with us and whilst good golf can never be guaranteed, we will do everything else to ensure that you have a great day.

Kind regards,

Tony
